Alvin Shermam Library:

The Alvin Sherman Library at Nova Southeastern University (ASL/NSU) is located at 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33314. The Genealogical Society of Broward County (GSBC) has developed a great working relationship with the library.  ASL houses the former GSBC collection, this gift became the cornerstone for genealogy resources in the library. Today it contains over 3,000 books and periodicals on genealogy is located on the fourth floor.

 

Library Hours:  The Genealogy Collection is open at the same hours as that of the Alvin Sherman Library  which can be found here.

RBdigital is an audiobook and ebook download service offered to Alvin Sherman Library public cardholders and NSU current students, faculty, and staff and NSU Alumni. It has the largest collection digital audiobooks (30% of all audio in the library market is exclusive to RB or Recorded Books!), and includes best-sellers and pop-fiction in both audio- and ebook formats. Read or listen to them on your computer, or use the free RBdigital app to add your books to your favorite device.
